The Okey Law Offices was founded by Mark F. Okey and Mark D. Okey. The Okeys have focused their practice on oil and gas and personal injury law.
The Okey family can trace its roots back to the founding of our country and state. Starting with Cornelius Okey and ending with Mark F. Okey, the family has served Ohio in both a public and private manner in various capacities. The Okeys count among their ranks former Ohio Supreme Court Justices, State Representatives, attorneys, and farmers.
The true beginning of the Okey Law Offices started with Eugene P. Okey. Gene practiced with Mark D. and other family members in Canton, Ohio for decades. What started off as a one man law firm with a card table transformed into one of the most respected small law firms in Ohio. It is a tradition of success that we are proud to carry on today.

Over the course of his career, Mark D. has won numerous significant jury verdicts, including victories at the Ohio Supreme Court. Mark D. also served 3 terms in the Ohio House of Representatives representing the citizens of Carroll, Tuscarawas, Stark and Mahoning Counties.
After 35 years of practice and 6 years of public service, Mark D. has scaled back his practice and now serves as a mentor and advisor to his son, Mark F., while also assisting on larger cases and projects.
Mark F. Okey:
